The wait is over! The Matariki & Kalayaan Basketball Tournament is officially confirmed and returning this year, and we couldn't be more excited to announce it!
Join us on July 11 & 12, 2026 as we come together to celebrate two incredible cultures — Māori and Filipino — through the love of the game. Matariki, the Māori New Year, and Kalayaan, the Filipino celebration of independence and freedom, unite on the court for two days of non-stop basketball action, community spirit, and cultural pride.
